Welcome to the Derya Glass Design website.

​

I am a contemporary Glass Artist and Jewellery Maker working from my Cambridge Studio. I offer a range of sterling silver jewellery made of Italian glass with gemstones and other wonderful materials.

​

I am experienced in different aspects of Italian glass design making unique and contemporary products (e.g. flamework, lampwork etc.)

 

During the production of the glass, exclusively produced Italian Effetre, Double Helix and American branded glass rods are used. These glass rods are melted and shaped with a fire torch at 800-1200 degrees celsius. Each glass product is left inside of an annealing kiln to be cooled down to strengthen the resistance of the products.
